Hello Sarasota, Florida!

For the month that we're in Sarasota we are staying at Sun-N-Fun Resort.  It is easily the largest RV park we've stayed in. There are 600 RV sites and hundreds of 500 sq ft park models that you can rent or buy.  Golf carts and bikes are popular modes of transportation because the roads are narrow and parking is limited for activities.  The RV sites are on the small side.

There are tennis courts, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, professional lawn bowling green, tournament class bocce ball court, pentanque courts, basketball courts, and professional clay horseshoe courts to name some of the sports.  There are teams/leagues for every sport and if you don't know how to play, they will teach you.

You can also keep busy by playing bingo by the pool on Wednesday evenings, joining a sewing group, or playing cards/games during the week.

There's also a woodworking shop and stained glass and lapidary studios where you can work on a project for free using their tools. 

And, we can't forget the day spa for massages and facials and pet baths so you can bathe you dog.

Snowbirds can certainly keep busy here!

We came to Sarasota for MLB Grapefruit League so we plan on seeing a lot of Baltimore Oriole baseball games.  Let's get ready to play ball!
