November in Maryland

November was spent in the Baltimore area, spending time with family.  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Stephen and Andrea's.  The holiday season has officially begun.

We visited Pine Valley Tree Farm where you could cut your own tree.  We bought a fresh wreath.

We also visited Miracle on 34th Street in Hampden, MD. It is the #3 Most Outrageous Christmas Lighting Display in the United States. They are now in their 71st year!  Bob Hosier is the guy who started it all with a string of lights on a tree in the family yard when he was a teenager. Darlene also lived on 34th Street.  They grew up, got married, and continue decorating to this day.  (Andrea is their cousin.) The street has been nationally recognized by Nightline, The Travel Channel, the Maryland Lottery, and Home and Garden to name a few.

Bob and Darlene's house is on the left.
